Most peoplple with a mover fitted use a 110 Ah battery - these will cost approx £85 at present. You will also need an aquaroll (~£40) and wastemaster (~£40) (or equiv). Don't forget to get some chemicals for the toilet; I've also found the thetford toilet tissue is much easier to clean out of the waiste holder.
If you haven't got a gas cylinder yet - try the local dump; you might get it for nout (or you might have to slip then a few quid - I've got some free, but also had to part with up to £5 as well) you will then be able to exchange it for a full one and just pay for the gas.

Does anyone else do camping and caravaning meets and get on alright with the showers in the fixed bed caravans. My wife isn't convinced about them and she really would like the seperate cubicle type that you get in the end bathrooms.
Ours has a fixed bed but still has a seperate shower cubicle. but the toilet and shower is on the side. Neither my OH or I are small people by any stretch of the imagination and the cubicle is big enough to use comfortably

Congrats on getting the van, I'm sure you'll have some fab holidays in it. There's a bloke called Terry who used to own Wandahome, he's based on an industrial site at Brough, he's great for getting cheap bottles of gas. Got one off him for a fiver, saved on the deposit for a new bottle. He's also great for getting supplies of other stuff an all. We're hoping to get him to fit a heki over our bed at some point. This is his website

We find the shower fine for occassional use, but one word of advice make sure that you have a full aquaroll before starting the shower as the first time I had a shower in our van the water ran out half way through and OH had to run to the tap and refil it while I stood in the shower covered in soap!! We now have 2 aquarolls to and always keep one full to avoid this problem.
Yes you can fit 110Ah battery in the battery box and you can get 2 x 6kg propane gas cylinders in the front gas locker. I would not suggest trying the 13kg cylinders and I don't think they will fit and will be too heavy.

Anybody used "READ CARAVANS" of Blackburn and Leeds?
Chaz
We bought our Bailey Ranger from Leeds Read Caravans at the start of the season. The price was the cheapest we saw at the time and we managed to get some freebies thrown in.
We must have spent 40 hours plus looking at caravans over a few weekends before deciding to buy a Bailey Ranger. Once the decision was made (by the OH) we went to a few dealers to talk turkey and found Reads to be most receptive to a bit of haggling. A couple of weeks after doing the deal we were feet up with a glass of red in our shiny new van and no regrets.
