is our first caravan and hubby is bothered about the twisty roads.

where are you coming from??

its not that bad you know..the A470 is a beautiful road..mind them sheep we had to do an emergency stop with caravan in tow one time :(

but the roads are very good..take your time and enjoy :)

   It's a lovely scenic route on the A470,i have towed on it many times going to Builth Wells , with a caravan and with a horse trailer. As it has been said... take your time !!! Just watch out for the Sunday drivers who poodle along enjoying the view,while you struggle behind trying to get up the hill (lol)

I live here and the roads are pretty good. Slightly twisty but wide an well surfaced. Much easier than most places Ive been

You'll be fine as long as you drive at your own speed & don't worry about anyone trying to push you to go faster. Just take your time & enjoy the experience of it all. Towing anywhere on any type of road is going to have its ups & downs.
