Yes, joecroft2, I remember being in the snow once at Rudesheim in Germany and driving home along an empty snow covered autoban. Too cold for us I'm afraid, and a wet labrador in a caravan is not the most pleasant thing, but I like the pics.

When we’re going up a hill of fortune, may we never meet a friend coming down
apart from the 1st and last trips of the year prepping is a doddle, sleeping kit along with eating kit live in the van anyway so it is a case of check tyres, wash, load fodder and beer. put in clothes and away you go. on return I usually give the van a good wash out internally (kitchen, loo, fridge hoover) IMO it is a lot easier than faster than the tent hear as you had to pack clothes, dig out everything, humph it downstairs and load car and the reverse when coming back
hii can be ready in an hour we are lucky to have our van at home i pack our clothes and food but keep on top of cleaning it,hubby does all the man things that i cannot do,after reading about weight in caravans on another thread i took a lot out of my van and just take what we really need.
