Caravan Club. Ours was in storage on the site we use and towed out whenever we wanted it, this year it is on a seasonal pitch. I spoke to the Caravan Club and they didn't want to know tbh, they just said providing I ensure there is always a security device on the caravan that's all they are worried about! It didn't make a jot of difference to my premiums it being on a seasonal pitch and not in a compound.

we're currently insure our van with Caravan Guard and we're going on a seasonal pitch in September so we;re hoping they'll not be wanting more money or more security as we might have to consider the Caravan Club

We're with Caravan Guard, and they're not interested as long as you have all your security devices in place. Risk wise, its more safe on seasonal than towing along the motorways.
Something else to bear in mind is that in storage it is quite often not possible to put a wheel clamp on as the vans are positioned too close together. The Caravan Club only require one device which swayed it for me as we bought a Bulldog hitch lock and that satisfied the criteria.
We have also insured with Caravan Guard. We now have authorisation to store the caravan at our home address or seasonal pitch with full cover. The only requirements asked are that we fit two wheel clamps and Alko lock when not being towed.
hi we have a seasonal pitch, we are with Wise Insurance Services, they are great we had a brand new twin axle lunar lexon and all we pay is around £300 per year thats including the awning, contents, personal effects etc, several people on our site are with them. They discount you because the caravan in not being towed basically they treat it like a static, their web address is www.insurancewise.co.uk hope you find this useful happy caravanning.
