Sounds a bit like a stone strike. My thought is that it should be OK but just keep an eye on it. Replacing a window can be expensive and, given the year of your van you may have trouble finding a suitable replacement. If you do have to replace it, try ebay under "caravan spares" or "caravan parts" There always seem to be lots of 2nd hand windows on there and you may stike lucky and find the appropriate one at a reasonable price

if only tiny try and live with it.is it cracked or just chipped?

a new one can be had made from your own,ie. a copy.this would involve sending it off to.....   www.eeco-ltd.co.uk  to get a quote give them a ring.to measure you measure the actual opening not the window itself.

I have a 20 year old caravan and had the same thing.  It felt totally smooth from the outside BUT in heavy rain the water collected inside the two perspex sheets if you see what I mean and I had about 6 inches of water sloshing around!

Because of the age of the van and the fact that I'm hoping to upgrade next year I decided to just buy some clear filler stuff (from Homebase) and smeared that over the "cracks".  Seems to have worked and you can't see it.
