Ben or do we adress you as Stephen,I could have also said Hi-yah to a Nottinghamian.
Stephen, the only choice you have got to make at this time is_ are you single axle or twin and are you staying that way for the fore seeable future, Nearly all touch movers that move the caravan wheels are transferable from one van to another without a lot of trouble and a little knowledge of mechanical fitting and just a tidy idea of electrics. If you have any doubts or want an idea of pricing, give Powrtouch a ring on 01425 283293. They often have offers or even refurbs to offer.
Any further advice and just come back on this forum and you will be inundated with replies.. Best wishes Graham R.

Our dealer quoted us £90 to transfer our mover to a new caravan. It's a Powertouch & is very good.
To be honest, after looking at how it's fitted, you may well decide to transfer it yourself. I'm not sure how this would efect the warranty, they come with a five year one so it may be worthwhile letting the dealer do the work & have an invoice to prove it in the event of a warranty claim.
Just make sure that when whoever fits the mover, that they leave a slack loop in the wiring from the motors to the control panel. That will help if you transfer the mover to a bigger van in the future.
We bought a Powrtouch mover and then changed the van about a year later.
The thing to consider is to buy a model which will cope with your next van - which may be bigger/heavier than your current one. We bought a heavy duty mover, which was slightly uneccessary on our first van, but was therefore fine for our new heavier van.
When we bought the new van, we traded the other one back to the dealer and switching the motor mover between the vans was a 'no-cost' part of the deal.
Last June (2007) I bought a refurb Powrtouch mover direct from Powrtouch and to be perfectly honest I thought it was brand new. I bought it as a DIY for £500 with 3 years warranty, it was the model one for up to 1300kg (my vans max 1100kg)fitting toook a couple of hours and if I change van removal would only take an hour or less I`m more than pleased with it
Ben , as promised you appear to have had a very good and quick response as I suggested. You will always get a lot of help off the members on this forum and I doubt you will ever find better. Don't forget after all your research, you bring us up to date with the results. Best of luck with your [little] problem and keep the local fish, chips and pea's warm cos I may be back up before the years out.
[ Only for a visit, because the sea is only half a mile from my bungy not 86 like your Skeggy.]
Best of luck. Graham R.
