Flags are useful because they mean that children know their caravan or tent from lots of others on a site. We have flags, whirly gigs, and windsocks and so do lots of other people we know especially on rallys. They are no bother except in very high winds or thunderstorms when we take them down as do most other people.
Glad some one takes my point, got slated on here last season for moaning about blasted flags cracking away in high winds during the night, they only had to take them down for the night don't find them a bother during the day even when very windy
We have just been to Somerset and the people in the 2 vans next to us had welsh flags flapping all night!! They got right on my t**s I thought it was our awning door open and blowing in the wind!! They were all grown up so dont know why they had them!!

What I find worse than flags, wind chimes, mobiles etc is drunken chav's who decide to have 20 mates round at ten o'clock at night all trying to fit into three 2 man tents while listening to Ibiza greatest hits on their Citroen Saxo CD player. Enough said! Total .
