hi there,

        does anyone know where you can get insurance for a twin axle hobby caravan?

  we have tried so many insurance companies who offer insurance for these caravans only to be told they won't insure it ,if you have one of these vvans or know someone that does would love to hear from you....

Hi.. some friends of ours have a twin axle hobby van. I think they get their insurance from the caravan club.

As per my other post, your problem is that a van this wide needs to be towed by a vehicle over 3500 kg.  Do you own/use such a vehicle?

 Also, these large Hobbys are very attractive to thieves.

Do you tow it, or is it sited?    If sited, how about an insurer that covers statics?

   Thanks for taking the interest in trying to help us, since i was on the forum last we have managed to get excellent cover from 4site insurance at a very reasonable price..

   and yes we tow it with an appropriate vehicle , and we also have every security device any-one could possibly imagine because we are aware they are sought after by we know who... thanks again for your replies
