Having recently purchased a new swift charisma 650, I have recently noticed when draining the truma ultrastore water heater there is very little water draining out, no way near the 10litres it can hold.  When first arriving on site and hooking up to the mains water the water pump does not run for any length of time  to suggest it is filling the tank, the water runs very quickly from taps with no air in system, the hot water is hot but I am unable to get hot water for a great length of time suggesting the storage tank is not full, everything is being done correctly etc, dealer is in the process of trying to solve problem, anyone else every had a similar problem?? 

Are you opening the water taps to drain off the heater? Our van has 2 drain cocks (hot and cold supplies). Make sure both are open.

Our van has an anti-surge unit; looks like a small fire exyitguisher fitted in the water pipe.  Is there a possibility that this has blocked in some way?  Cannot think of anything else that would cause your problem.
