The Crystal 3 has a flat cartridge filter that plugs in (usually pale blue) at the pump inlet. This model was discontinued and Truma reverted back to the Crystal 2 as some of the Mk 3 filters leaked at the connections and from the seams. The Mk3 filter is very difficult to find now and fetches £20 + on e-Bay. The best solution is to replace with the Mk 2 (either Carver or Truma as both the same). These are a straight swap in terms of aperture size and screw hole dimensions but will require a different pump connection and push fit elbow inside. Make sure all old mastic is removed from the 'van wall before fitting the new one.
I believe Gary at arcsystems.biz had complete conversion kits.
Hope this helps.
