We have a new avondale 630/6 and noticed everytime we use the oven the gas goes out unless we leave the door open slightly, we have to wedge it open with a wooden spatular we thought it was the direction of the wind to start with but it still did the same when there wasn't any. The gas bottle is full and we have purged the gas so there is no air in line,has anyone got any ideas as we don't want to take it back to the dealers as we have now sited the van in devon nearly 200 miles away form home.

Hi Julie,

Do you have a glass lid over your hob I wonder, if so try lifting it fully open as there is a safety cut out when glass cover is down.  Hope this will be of some help.  Have a nice holiday.

Yes it does have a glass lid but it still does it with that up i'm afraid.

It does sound like your oven isn't getting enough air to allow the gas to burn properly , check you don't have air vents blocked in the caravan .
There's normally a vent under the oven .
