We have just bought a spacelight 2007 model, from ebay and tried it tonight for the first time, it is really spacious and light weight compared to the large isabella we have as a full awning, has anyone actually got one and used it on site ?? and any tips for putting them up thankyou.

HI
we have had one for about 6 months ,only once had to take it down in very strong winds on a very open pitch.
still not sure what is the best way to put it up,but very happy with it.
not sure what the centre guide rope is for

although we only tried it on the side tonight in the storage facility we felt you could easily fit in a decent size table and chairs and our dog cage with plenty of room to move it seems to be one of the bigger porch awnings.

I have one for sale that has never been used as my husband tried to put it up and got frustrated as there were high winds.

£110 is a bit on the pricey side for a second hand one as new they are around £130 - hope you dont mind me saying - I lost out to a used once one last night on e-bay - went for £85

sorry I didn't men to sound as if you were trying to con anyone LOL

I meant that it is still second hand once you walk out of the shop - I wouldn't pay £20 less than a new one where I could take it back to the shop if there were any defects etc

sorry if it sounded like I was having a go or something - that really isn't what I intended

On this website in the awning shop they are priced at £169.99 and that is discounted, they are posssibly cheaper on ebay we paid £87 only used on 3 occasions and we picked it up so no postage costs,

no offence taken, I bought it for £139 back in May I think and we just tried it and Hubby put it onto the awning rail unrolled it and gave up.  I suppose really I should go down to £100 just to get rid of it as its just taking up space
