Hi, wonder if anyone can help
recently bought a swift challenger 1992 model... moved on from trailer tent, should have done this years ago... we have had problems with the jockey wheel that came with it as the thread had gone and also the arm on the outside was hard to try and turn as it kept hitting the outer casing when we tried to tighten. so have purchased a new jockey wheel and bracket.
. replaced the bracket.the new jockey wheel is perfect and no problems, however we are still having problems where we cant turn the outside arm ( that tightens the bracket around the wheel) as after about 3 turns it hits against the outer casing and therefore will not hold the jockey wheel in place, so its slipping up and down.
took the frame casing off and it at was able to give it that extra turn so that it tightens ok, any ideas why i cant turn with the caseing on. its as if i need a metal block fixed on the frame, followed by the bracket to give that extra few mm so that i can turn the outside arm full circle.
thanks nick.
