What are the benifits of having your awning mud skirt either out or in (ie pegging on the outside and having the skirt folded in or having the pegs on the inside and skirt outside)
I currently peg outside so that the kids do not bang their toes on pegs when they are running around inside the awning.
Didn't know you could do either, I always thought that it depended on the awning style as some looked like they should be out whereas mine seems to be designed to be in.

depends on your awning, mine go inwards, as it wouldnt be possible to peg the awning won on the outside if it was outwards.
I use groundsheet pegs to peg the flaps dwon (if I bother to) they are nearly flat to the floor.
Pegs on ours peg down the ladders and can only go outside with the mud wall folded underneath and under the groundsheet....have I explained this clearly???? Can't be done any other way on ours from what I can see of it.
Porch awning has inside pegs at the corners and outside ones everywhere else...again with the mud wall on the inside under the groundsheet.
Our small awning is an 'outy', full awning an 'inny' - neither can be the other way. Makes no difference to us (other than I stay dry pegging the small awning!) as we don't use a groundsheet.
