i have a bradcot awning and used it this weekend and one of the front panels zips has the little metal thingy missing from the end of the zip ( the bit you push into the other half of the zip ) does anybody know if these can be repaired or is it a new zip job or enen a new panel ??

MARTIN IAM NOT SURE IF THERE IS SUCH A PROFFESION AS A ZIPSMITH BUT WHEN I HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM I GOT THE NEEDLE AND COTTON OUT AND STICHED THE END OF THE ZIP REALLY TIGHT TO FORM A SOLID PIECE TO SLOT INTO THE OTHER HALF OF YOUR ZIPPER

When this happened to our tent a few years ago we ended up having a new zip fitted. These people are allways recomended on the folding camper site for repairs.
