This looks very similar to the one we keep in the van - good power and suction.

I have a Dirt Devil Cyclonic. 13.2v cordless with anti odour filter.  It gives 15 mins running time and a full charge.    Hand held. Perfect for stairs at home and for carpets in the van, or anywhere when you don't want to haul Mr Big Vac out.

Cost - Cant tell you as I only paid £5.00 for it at a Car Boot !!!  Worth every penny lol

Most of the 12v vacumms are crap, even the little mains ones arent so good. To be honest we swear by a Ewbank manual brush push and pull thing. It does the job great. we then have a dustpan and brush (the brush is on a long stick so is great) and that is it. No noise and gets the bits up.

we jsut shake out the loose carpets and catch the bits with the kit above.

Seems to have good reviews ,anyone got one ?

cheers

I cant open the link for some reason but it says that its an electrolux stair and car handheld and I have just recently bought one of these from argos for £39.95.

I am very pleased with it there is loads of power with a rotating brush that can be turned off and a nozzle if yo u have any tight corners, I am very pleased I bought it and would definitely reccommend it.

ps . Yes I know how to do shortened links but I do not believe people should use them as you must never click a shortened link as it could be to anywhere .

Skatty,

I think its perfectly fine to shorten a link because when you hover your mouse over it you can see where it goes.  If your browser has the correct security settings and you have up to date AV software installed there should not be a problem.

You have shortened your email link in your signature "Pot Kettle Black"

Have used a small Dirt Devil for quite a few years, and it does a satisfactory job.

Try a Google or e-bay.

You regularly see these (and similar) at car boots, usually about £3.

We've got one, perfectly satisfactory.

Instead of pasting the web addy onto the page ,write the word you want to be the link ,highlight it and press this button 20 and put the web addy in there instead!

Only trouble is ,if you are not very pc savvi you could click a rouge link that could lead to anywhere ,or somtimes people like me get infected with a trojan that effects and link they post and can cause probs for people who click the links

I started off with a hand held vac but it wasn't much use.....my OH found a very old carpet sweeper at his mothers that wasn';t used and it's brill......picks up really well and is really light weight too.

I bought one of these for our caravan and have found it to be excellent. Really strong suction and good brush action.  Also available in lakeland catalogue.
