I hope someone can help me on this one.

I have just got a new bailey ranger, I had a pennine fiesta folding camper before that and all the gizmo's that go with it.one of these was my 12 volt coolbox that we used all the time.

My Question to you is can any one give me ideas on how i can still use the 12 volt coolbox in my awning to keep the beer cold, i know i have a fridge in the caravan but its not big enough for the milk and beer together.

That's either a lot of milk or a lot of beer or both!!

If you can run a mains extension to your awning then what about a mains to 12v transformer, something like this?

i had one of them when camping worked great argos sell em as well!!!!

i have a 12v plug in my bailey and same as you got plug to plugin 12v and adaptor from maplins to make in to female socket then ran wire through window works a treat  and if your answer is same as mine 2 pints of milk lol

If there is a 12V socket in the van, (there is in my Pageant) you can get a plug for it(Bailey supply them if socket is fitted). Then swop the plug for the cigarette lighter plug on the lead above ( watch the polarity!)

The transformers are good, we have a Halfords box and transformer-both bought in Halfords sale half price!!!

I've just replaced mine - similiar to the one Stressed Al shows - about £12 from Halfords.
