More or less decided this is the van for us, watching a few on ebay I see there is a difference in the seating in the rear dinette depending on the year. I like the look of the one with the l shaped seating rear dinette with the bunk above. Anyone seen one of these?
Have seen these advertised new for £9495 which seems a great price. Or do we stick to our original plan and buy a 2nd hand one? Anyone recommend a good dealer selling these?

Yes we went to the NEC on Sunday, got some really good chairs normally selling for £60 each for £75 the pair, cadac cover and thats about it. We looked at the vans but OH is still dragging his feet, worrying about interest rates etc. He keeps telling me we have a perfectly good motorhome to use which is true (we're off to Cornwall on Saturday for 4 days) but I still would love a van. Our local dealer (bottom of our road so every day I check its still there LOL as I go to work) has a van I love (Ace Nightstar) with the twin dinette set up, its a 2004 and in excellent condition, bit pricey but I am in love with it. I saw a Major 5 in the flesh at Golden Castle (where you went) and was disappointed with the lack of cupboards at one end and the Ace has a solid sliding door seperating the two ends which appeals to us too.
We had a chat with the manager of our fave french site at the nec on Sunday. He spotted us and called our names, wanting to know why we havent booked for next year yet! I was surprised how quiet the nec was. Did you buy anything ?
Princejim, that price was on a 2008 and I think it was from a place called Cranham caravans (saw it online)

We bought some new acrylic glasses for the kids and that's about it!
We're off in our Bailey tomorrow for the first time (3 nights) and are joining up with a fabulous family we met on holiday in France this summer (we've already booked a holiday for next summer together too!). We are SO excited!
The very moment I stepped into our Bailey I knew it was the one for us. Never had that feeling before so it was all new to me! It ticked every single box, there wasn't/isn't anything that I'm not happy about.
She's fully loaded now ready for the off in the morning - and as blinkin luck would have it I have to wait an extra hour because the clocks go back! LOL
