Glad you've got what you want, excited for you. are you still going to the NEC?
If it was us we'd be away the 1st weekend, we are taking the motorhome away this October half term unless the weather is really grim as we will be cosy and I cant bare waiting til next Easter to go away. I am still really keen on a caravan but as OH keeps pointing out to get our moneys worth we would have to use it alot. I sat down last night and worked out how much use a caravan would get, Easter, 2 bank holiday weekends in May and 2.5 weeks in France in August. ? a weekend June, July and September too. OH (who I know is right) says we have free use of his parents year old 43k top of the range motorhome and save will money not buying the caravan yet I still want one and he has agreed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we have decided to watch ebay as we know what we are looking for and our local dealer knows what we are after too.

Yes were are still going to the NEC - I'm sure there are LOTS of accessories to buy
We will go away but only for the one night I think. It's not the weather that puts us off, it's lack of time off work - hubby & I both work til mid-afternoon on Saturdays. We took a lot of holidays during May, July & August this year so we don't have much now until April'09 apart from Easter.
Still, I'm excited to be shopping about for little bits and bobs in the mean time.
Good luck with finding you perfect van!

Glad to hear you joined us caravanners - and I hope you do get to use your van before Easter! We once did a week staying on a site near home - and drove to work from there - it was just like being on holiday!!! Mind you, there's only two of us and it would be a bit more difficult if you have children to cater for - but perhaps thinking about over half-term???!!!!
Nice to hear your news. We have had a van since July and are going off next week for a few days. Hope it is not too cold at night when nipping out of bed to use the loo!!
We go away very locally at weekends with kids and have a great time usually. Only downer is coming home and putting caravan back into storage - i never want to come home weather it is hot or cold or wet or dry lol
Well done, I am sure you will enjoy your new toy, Now all you have to do is get away in it to find out how you like it. We love a Bailey. Just got a new car today so I am hoping we are going to get away soon to see how the car and caravan match up.
