I answered the query regarding the use of anti-freeze in the toilet, because someone asked the question. Like other posters, I have not actually used it, because I have never had need for it. I agree with the comments that products such as Elsan (which we use) probably already have a resistance to freezing.
A few years ago, we spent New Year at the C&CC Blackmore site. Although the aquaroll froze up, as did the one usable tap at the amenity block (I think the temperature reached down to minus 15 degrees at night), the caravan toilet still did not freeze.
