Have recently purchased a Bailey Pageant Magenta (1993) and would like to be able to make the bed up to its full capacity - removing the drawers/table in the front.
We were told that the side cushions fill in the space of the drawers/table but they are such a funny shape I do not see how this could work. Does anyone have any ideas or should I just go out and get a piece of foam to fill in this area?
On my 94 Bailey Oakmere, the cupboard lifts off and the backrest cushions from when it is a seat fill the space there and over the pulled out slats, laying down.

Drawers definately come off as they are on a metal ridge that lifts off.
Have put the bed together with the two backrests and main seats, but the 'arm rest' cushions (four) are 'L' shaped and one end of each 'arm rest' is higher than the other. I think it is like one of those annoying puzzles you get in christmas crackers that should make a square but you somehow never manage it!!
Will take a look at the cushions for sale.
Must get out there and give it another go. Thanks again.
We have a 1991 Magenta, but ours doesn't have a chest, it's got U shaped seating. With ours we make the bed up using the big, long seat cushions and the long back ones, this leave a slight gap at the end which we fill with some of the short side cushions but ours stick up a bit too. It doesn't bother us as the bed is so big anyway that we never seem to sleep on that bit..
