Now looking to purchase a full awning and looking at Dorema & Ventura, any thoughts on your favourites or easy to assemble....would be appreciated.....
Haven't had a Dorema, but have a Ventura and an Isabella, and have to say I'm very pleased with the Ventura - good quality, well made, and looks fine. No problems with assembly either.
We bought our first ventura awning a couple of weeks ago and we love it, it was really easy to put up (following the instructions) and the quality is really good . i also like the look of the inaca awnings they are also a nice quality awning.
We have a bradcot classic, and they are brilliant. The first one we had came with our old caravan,it had steal poles and 2 annexes and we couldn't fault it.Our friends have a pyrmaid and they suffer from condensation dripping off the roof but we have never had that with the bradcot. So we have now brought another for our new van.We got it secondhand Ł300 for 2006 model ,the only down side is this has alloy easy poles which we have been told are easy bent.Still if we do have problems i will replace them with steal ones
we have had 2 Bradcots, a Dorema and now have an Inaca Sands. The Dorema came with the second hand van we bought and the first time we tried to put it up it got binned (down to discovering it was in a disgusting state as well as a some poles were missing). The 2 Bradcots we had were great as well although we did have a few lightweight poles that bent. So when we needed a new awning for our new van we did look at another Bradcot but ended up getting an Inaca Sands with steel poles (so glad we did as we had gales), we found on the Inaca that there were extra poles for the front sun canopy which we never had with the other awnings, plus the fly sheet bit on the side has a zip across the bottom as well as the sides, we found that the fastenings to fix it to the ground were better plus we also got a complete stranger come up to us and openly admire our van and awning on how nice they looked, so that's maybe another option for you

Just had to get a new awning for our new van.. its our 4th ventura these are made by isabella you get top quality gear for your cash i would not buy a serious canvas porch or full awning unless it was a ventura!
P.S. NO MATTER WHICH MAKE YOU BUY GO FOR THE FIBRE FRAME IT CAN SERIOUSLY HELP YOUR BACK PROBLEMS.....other types are so, so, so, heavy (saves on towing weight as well)
How about Trio? We have always had trio models and think they are very good value. We were HSMs for the C&CC and ours was up for 8 months every year. The last one we had for 5 seasons and another 4 years after we retired. We have finally retired it as the steel poles were rather heavy for us two OAPs so we now have an NR porch Awning which is A1.
