Im a caravaner of many years, when is the best time to buy a van & also sell a van.

The reason i ask, is because i want to sell my elddis vogue 212 se, and purchase a little bit bigger van, Is it best to sell in march april time , and get a bargain december time.

In normal time I suppose I would suggest, if you are buying brand new, is to order now fo delivery in the Spring. But it seems we are not living in ordinary times so I expect there won't be the same pressure on delivery. I would chat to a dealer as see what delivery times are like. It also depends when you want to take delivery of your new van.

We bought our first van in late November. We sold it 2 years later for the same price we bought it for. It was sold again 2 years later for the same price we bought and sold it for.

Our next van was bought in late October 4 years ago. Its still selling for  more now than the price we bought it for so I would reckon round about now is a good time to buy. As for selling, definately June, July or August   

I've just bought an Avondale Dart 380,taking advantage of the low prices which www.caravan-company.co.uk are selling them at,i think i have got a bargain,cheers.
