We got a big one as a wedding present in APril and love it, due to this we brought the small one from Asda for our van and it is the best £8.99 spent so far. Following on from talking to my manager at work we also brought a cheap timer so we plug that into the socket, plug the slow cooker into the time switched to low or high and then go out and come home to a nice cooked meal

Hi all, I use a slow cooker alot, for stews and casseroles, but haven't tried a curry in it.

Do the people that have, use curry powder or paste, I would like to try a beef and a chicken.

Local Tesco ( Selby) is selling small slow cookers off at £9, I bought one and used it in caravan last weekend and came in to a wonderful aroma ,
