Just wanted to say what fantastic service we have received from Jonic the caravan/motorhome bedding company!
You hear so often when people receive bad service but very rarely hear when a company goes that little bit further!
We ordered all the bedding for our new caravan from them on saturday at the NEC (we are collecting it tomorrow then going off on our first outing in it next week). Delivery usually takes 2-3 weeks but when we told the man how quickly we need it, he said that because they were items he had in stock already he would process the order personally and guarantee delivery before today (friday)!
The order arrived today as promised, we are really pleased with everything, good quality too!
Anyone looking for bedding, I would highly recommend!!

Glad you had a good experience! I loved the look of the bedding on offer.
I emailed them a couple of weeks ago - and twice since, regarding some bedding. I was ready to place an order for almost £200 but they never bothered to reply.
In the end, I rang them and asked if there was a problem with their email system - explaining that I had emailed several times and not received a reply and they said 'oh yes, we did get your email we just haven't replied yet'.
At that, I said 'ok, well if you can't be bothered to reply within 10 days then I can't be bothered to order. Goodbye'.
Took my business elsewhere.

I've used Jonic twice now. First time was for mattrress proctectors and i ordered by phone - had excellent service! But this nd time i ordered a fitted sheet online and didn't hear anything for a couple of weeks except order confirmation when i placed the order. i emailed them to ask for confirmation of delivery but received no reply. After a couple of weeks i phoned them as it was then only a couple of weeks til we were away. They took my ohone number and promised to ring me back, which they did within half an hour. I was told the blue material had been 'out of stock' but it had come into stock today and would be despatched that day. True to their word it arrived next day. So i wasn't too disappointed. On both occasions tho quality and fit were excellent so i would use them again.
I wonder if their online service comes second to phone enquiries although i don't see why.
We ordered a matress protector and a fitted sheet spoecifically designed for our caravan bed type - we ordered by caravan make and model. They both arrived fairly quickly. The mattress protector kept pinging off the mattress and after a few washes the fitted sheet was covered in tiny little cotton balls which were very uncomfortable and the sheet had to be thrown out.
I don't think you should think about bedding specifically for a caravan. We have a fixed bed - and we use a normal fitted double sheet, with the 'chopped-off' corner just well tucked in and a normal double duvet on top. On the single beds we use a normal fitted single sheet for the bottom, with single duvets (if our nephew and neice are with us) or a normal fitted double sheet and duvet if our friends are staying with us and we make up the double bed. Both arrangements are fine as long as you tuck in any spare fabric. It seems to me that anyone offering fitted caravan bedding ought to produce something very special to justifiy the prices.
Val A - I agree for 'normal size' caravan beds that normal bedding works fine. At first i bought flat sheets for the beds in our Adria. The bunk beds are too long for a fitted sheet and the front (made up bed) was also much bigger than a fitted sheet. The trouble with flat sheets was that there was so much material to tuck in it was a real pain! So we have just bought the fitted sheet for the front bed (haven't used it yet), we're away tomorrow - yay! When we do get to the stage of having a fan with a fixed bed (luxury!) then hopefully 'normal' bedding will fit. I agree prices are high for caravan bedding but it should make the job of making up our bed much easier. As we leave the bunks made up we are still using he flat sheet on them.
Are they a small company and so e-mail orders were stacked up while they were at the NEC, and dealt with in order of receipt date, along with trying to honour special orders like chaddy's?
At least they were honest about why they hadn't yet replied, maybe we take fast service too much for granted these days.
We didn't think the prices were that bad for good quality bedding, I tend to find anything cheaper goes bobbly really quick. We needed to buy bedding to use in the van anyway so decided to get it to fit. I'm sure if I had spare bedding at home it would have done fine too, I know its one of those personal choice things!
Picked up our van yesterday! Sooo excited, going away on tuesday! Just looked at the weather though, it mentions snow for wed morning??!! Good test of the quilts I suppose!
Just returned from our week in Scarborough and used our new fitted sheet from Jonic. Quality and fit were excellent and the mattress protector that we have had for a year now still fits and looks like new even after many wahses. So am very pleased with Jonic's products and will use again. I agree that the on-line ordering needs improving though.
We too ordered fitted sheets and a matress protector from Jonic for our fixed bed at the begining of this year. I wasn't sure if the online order had gone through successfully so phoned to make sure. Was told everyting was in order and we recieved them just a couple of days later. As far as I know they are a small family company and I will use them in future as both items are good quality and are washing and wearing well. I'm sure you can place an order over the phone if you really want.
We used our van for the first time last week. It snowed on the way down there and didn't stop till the next morning!
We were all very snug tucked up in our new bedding, the quilts are lovely and thick and warm (the beds were comfy too!). The fitted sheet and mattress protectors fitted well.
Can't wait to go next time now!!
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!
we ordered bedding costing over £600 which including linen for fixed double bed and the two front singles. Mattress protectors, duvets, covers and pillows/pillow cases. Also ordered a full replacement set for each. What a absolute fool I was. Waited 9 weeks for delivery then when it arrived, the protesters were absolutely huge. I didn't try them until our first outing with the van. BIG MISTAKE. Had no choice but to use them. Rang Jonic and explained. Charlotte said couldn't do anything with items that had been used. So, I could only return spare sets of everything equating to £182. Promptly returned items over 3 weeks ago and still no refund. I am currently contacting a solicitor and determined to see these cowboys squirm. Disgusting service. Hope they have a stand at the NEC this year. I will enjoy telling everyone who approaches them. Yes I'm bitter. Very bloody bitter and short of £600.
------------- Change what you can and accept what you can't.
We ordered fitted sheets from Jonic when we got our caravan in 2008. We have fixed twin beds, but they are not quite the same size as each other because of the layout. The sheets were excellent, but after a few years of heavy wear (we travelled for over a year) we needed new ones. Unfortunately Jonic's prices had absolutely shot up, so we now use normal single fitted sheets, but to make them fit snugly I bought some elastic grip things, four for each bed, and they keep the sheets stretched nice and smooth over the mattresses. I'm sure the same thing would work for double beds.
