We are going on our first ever caravanning jaunt tommorow,a small site in Lincs for a few days,kids are excited,just hope we got everything,need some tips on good caravan ettiquite,dont want to make bad friends on the first of many hols!!!

Have a great time Lee , tips , foot balls etc and caravans don't mix , everybody likes a quiet site when it gets late , if you have a dog keep it on a lead .
Have a walk round the site and get chating to other caravaners .
I'm sure you'll have a fab time , let us know how you get on .

You will have a great time.Don't be treading on eggshells. You will learn as you go.

Speak to your neighbours tell them it's your first time. They will bend over backwards to make sure your ok and fill you in on the site and the area.

Just be respectful of peoples pitches. No short cuts thru them and no running about round others caravans or cars.As Wizard says especially with Balls Etc.Don't keep your engine running un necesserly when un hitching or hitchin (that's my biggest bug bear)

Go and enjoy yourselves.It will be the first of many and you will soon be on here advising others.

Just be careful driving it could be windy this week.  Read the thread on driving in high winds (or words to that effect) and have a really good time.  All the comments above are excellent advice.

Main factor is the noise, people dont want to hear it late at night and there is always someone to help you, if you just ask and be careful driving in windy conditions and most of all enjoy your holiday.
