I am a little concerned about the height of my awning rail from the ground up. Mine is at about 230 cms whereas Lunar say it should be about 250 -280 cms. Unfortunately they cannot be specific on this as they only measure the overall height of the caravan to the top of the Status aerial. If you have a similar caravan or even a EW, it would be appreciated if you could check your height and advise if it falls into the correct parameters.
Hi Surfer01 , i have low profile tyres on my Lunar 640 , and the measurement from the awning rail in centre of the van down to ground is 93 inches , 2.355 cm hope this helps
We had the Lexon 640 and a Bradcot Classic awning. The awning fitted perfectly - I assume the rail was put on at the factory, at the same height as yours.

Normal awnings are not an issue, it si the lightweight ones that are an issue.
As a matter of interest to owners of Lunar 640 caravans, are you having problems with the drawer which is located just above the heater. We have had it replaced three times as after a few months usage in the winter, the drawer falls apart due to the heat rising from the heater. It tends to warp the drawer and then one day when you pull out the drawer, the whole thing falls apart. Just happened again two days ago and we are finding it very annoying.
no i have never had any trouble with drawer , the only troubles i have had were with the sliding door , and the handle of the oven grill door kept falling off , both have been resolved now
It is in for a check on 17th April so I will ask them to check out why I am missing 5cms? I know it does not sound like a lot, but is an issue with wheelclmaps as I do not have sufficient clearance for the good clmaps like the Bulldog.
