I've had my old trolley jack for years, it was bought to work on my cars & when the caravan came along it became part of the furniture. It was used for three wheel changes on the way home from holidays over the years & used to level the van regularly.
One man told me he'd rather carry it's weight in cans of lager but, that's down to the individual, I know what I'd rather carry.
I decided the old one was looking tatty & bought a new one which was on offer in a discount store, it was smaller than my old one so I thought it would be handy. The first time I used it here, it went back in the box & was returned for a rfund. It was stamed to lift a ton but, due to the short jack, you simply couldn't pump it up.
My old one is a Two ton jack from Halfords. It's brilliant, I can jack up everything i've got here with it. Sorry to waffle on but, make sure you buy one you can use without getting a hernia, some aren't worth the space they take up.
