hi can anyone help ..my son has just bought a 1992 adria optima 440b caravan as a starter van ..its a 4 berth.right  he hasnt got it home yet as only bought today hes knows it has on board water tank and a shower but the dealer doesnt know if its got hot water or not..can anyone solve this problem has it or hasnt it..

does any one know any think about these vans ..

if there is hot & cold knobs next to the tap there usually will be hot water, if the van only has cold there will only be cold water knob.

I don't think they had hot water fitted as standard but it's possible it has been retro-fitted.

I do agree about the dealer but none left the factory with a water heater, all this age of Adria's were 'anglacised' over here in Ilkeston by the importers.

It strikes me though as it's got an internal tank it will or would have had a water heater, almost without doubt a Carver Cascade2.

As it happens the very first Cascade2 I worked on was in this exact van, I do remember, it was fitted to the near side and vented it's gas fumes into the awning!!! It's owner was also the spitting image of Charlie Williams and spoke with the same accent?

hi iv got a 1991 adria optima 400b and it doesnt have hot water but did have a shower in it when i bought it 2 years ago. I took it out as i couldnt imagine having a cold shower!!!!

I love my adria and it has been a great starter van for my partner and i.

bless him he picked it up this weekend had his first outing in it and was chuffed.we took ours down spent the weekend with him we had our own van stayed on cherry hintons caravan club site.guite busy considering.

nice van hes got very clean and got nice full size awning with it.the children loved it..
