I had a similar problem with my Truma mover.  Exactly the same symptoms as yours.  Start, move a foot and then stop but would work fine when the rollers were not connected. I tried everything, new batteries on caravan and remote, I even replaced the circuit board.

In the end it was interference from the PIR on the security light in my drive.  When I want to move the caravan, I turn the power off to the security light, move the caravan and then switch the power back on.

Have tried ours in many different places, still won;t work, I thought it could be something overhead or in the ground at storager but it fails at home, on various sites etc etc etc,
