Hi we nearly got a 546 but to get a realistic front bed you have to remove the front chest.  As this is also the TV point this will be a real pain each night.  The 7'1" width also makes the lockers a bit small.

We quite wanted a separate shower, but the front lounge was too much of a compromise so we end up getting a Pageant S7 Bretagne.

We pick it up a week on Saturday.

The bathroom was too much of a compromise in the Bretagne so it went after 15 months. The 2010 546 with the smaller chest looks a good van and the best compromise of that layout on a single axle. If only the Quasar was 7'6" wide.....

Thats the only problem with family Baileys for us - the bathrooms always seem an afterthought - apart from the Senator Carolina which was a beauty but weighed too much the bathrooms are always way too small.

We got a 2010 Lunar Quasar 546 in May and have absolutely no complaints. We have been away several times over the summer and have found it to be spacious and very comfortable, with ample storage too. As mentioned in a previous post, we sometimes do not make up the double bed and just use two singles instead. My husband is 6'2 and finds both the single and the double comfortable. I have seen the 2009 model and would agree that this front lounge would have been way too small for us. The only compromise in the 2010 model is that the kitchen space is smaller and there is no dedicated storage space for the rear dinette table.

My most favourite things about our 546 is how bright and open the layout feels, the shower room and the rear dinette. I just love it!
