Hi all,

We brought our 4 year old swift conquerer 630 last august, used it twice, and everything worked ok. Went away recently and found we,d lost all power from the 12v system, so water pump, 12v lights, and on board radio did,nt work, the battery read full, all the fuses have been checked, and read ok. Please does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong.   Penny

Follow the 12 volt supply from the battery with a multi-meter , at a guess it's either a faulty switch or bad contact , also check your battery charger fuse .

I had exactly the same problem about 2 months after buying my current van.

I noticed the battery charger light on the control panel was not lighting when the charger was switched on. When the voltage dropped to <10v all my 12v stopped working.

The dealer changed the battery charger and it's been fine since.

I had a similar problem on our old Bailey and found a fuse behind the fire on the floor that i never new existed.Managed to reach it to replace and every thing was fine.

thats great jaqugra, our van is stored on a local farm, so steve is bringing it home in the next couple of weeks to try and fix it, will see about getting new charger.
