Hi,
Whats the place to find half decent weather maps?
we are thinking of going away in our van next week as we are off work. We have not decided on a destination yet but it will be somewhere within a couple of hours drive and where the best of the weather will be.
the problem i have is that i cannot find a website with a 5 day forecast displayed on a map. the ones i can find will give a forecast for a given location but not a map so i can pick where the best weather is.
where do you go for your weather forecasts?

At least you got away - we were meant to move our van on Thursday when our street was thick with snow and traffic crawling everywhere. No point trying to get 'van through Newcastle's horrific Friday evening traffic so weekend at home. GRRRRR!! Needless to say snow all gone now.

My favourite is Metacheck. I have used it for a couple of years now, and it is usually really accurate. You can see a forecast right into March right now!! It is not a map, but you can put in the postcode of the site you are visiting to see what they are getting.

No weather forecast for the UK is worth anything beyond 3 days ahead, and most are near useless more than 24 hours ahead.
Still, I always look at the 10 day ahead ones. They change on an hourly basis, and usually forecast thunder storms at some point!
