Having driven past a large Car auctions in the midlands a few times I have noticed about 50 caravans of all shapes makes and ages. Some were obviously but unfortunatly finance repossesions.
Now this got my little mind racing and I know all about the "buyer beware" side of things but has anybody got any ideas if the prices are worth the chance or do they still hold near enough to market value to not bother spending a day in a cold shed waiting???
I've been to the caravan auctions at Measham a few times. I've found that the decent vans, invariably, hold there price and would go as far as to say you could, probably, buy the same van for less privately than at auction. An example; last year a Sterling Eccles 4 berth van sold for £8000 which I thought was expensive. Saying that you could be lucky and drop on a bargain.
