I've been waiting for dh to say when we can go away in the caravan and he finally asked last night!!  Hurrah!!  Of course his next weekend off is Easter weekend so i had to do lots of searching but i eventually found one and booked it up.  It's been such a long time...

Gonna go and play in the caravan now lol

Well done - at this rate our first outing is going to be in June and I so don't want to wait that long!!

Mind you, looking out today at a blizzard, I'm quite happy to stay home!

I know but we've promised friends that our first trip this year will be to support them in their first ever outing in a tent and they're not going to be up for any trip when there's a risk of snow! [:(]

Never mind - it'll be great when we do finally get away and we should be super-prepared - everything's packed and ready now!!!

I've got May 1/2 term off (i have to book my holidays a year in advance) and i'd been looking forwards to going to the iow all year then dh told me that he couldn't get the week off.  I asked him if he'd mind if i took the kids away on my own and he was fine with that and suggested Butlins and we were all looking forwards to that until dh said about next month and now we are all really excited lol
