But does that mean you cant have the bedroom closed off AND the WC both at the same time?

We looked at that van before we bought ours and rejected it as being totally impractical because of the dual purpose door. Silly idea

Thanks mister g for clearing that up for me. It's saved me a visit to the dealers to see it for real. The wife insists on a door to the WC at ALL times, if only to keep the smells in there!

So that layout / caravan is no good for us. . . . At least we can rule it out now.

Need advice from anyone who can help. My wife & I are looking for a used single axle island bed caravan. We are new to caravaning and have looked extensively at dealers etc. Island beds I have been told are relatively new so still quite expensive. Can anyone recommend  reasonable dealers who have a good reputation. We live in Scotland but are willing to travel to get the right van. All things considered I think we prefer the island bed with central bathroom as most people maybe don't use the shower due to condensation etc and is away from the bedroom area. Everyone has different opinions. The Sterling Eccles Quartz looks amazing but too new & expensive at the moment. Would like to hear peoples views & advice.
