I'm after a "Hate Clarkson, love caravans" sticker to put on my cabin door at work!

Basically fed up of work colleagues spouting how clever he is to trash caravans etc.

I Believe the stickers were given out at a caravan show not so long ago. Has anyone got one suprlus to requirements or could give me a link to an image or scan of one please?

so your not a petrol head or a generator lover,so why worry about a none loving of outdoor life rich guy on the telly thats paid to entertain.

In answer to your commments Pete - if you read my orginal post the intention was for a "bite back" at my work colleagues who are Top Gear fans and remind me of this fact fairly frequently.

Petrol Head?  I have a high performance motorcycle, will that do?

Generator lover? No I'm not. I have no problem when it is genuinely needed but I do get hacked off when I have been next door to a noisy  generator chuggging away just because someone wants to watch TV all hours of the day, morning to late at night. We have a family of five who "survive" quite happily for a week on a leisure battery.

With regards to Clarkson himself - he may be entertaining to some, but I despair when I hear of people overtaking caravans "because its the sport of kings" according to Clarkson. Or "It's the in thing" to hate caravans because "Jezza" does. Try asking the poor s*d who died as a result of Clarkson's soopa doopa advice on how to control snaking by accelerating out of it.

OK, some find him amusing - and just as some like to show their appreciation of him by sporting a "Top Gear" sticker on their cars, I would like to show my "appreciation" of him by sporting a sticker of my own.....

Wheres the evidence that anyone has died as result of listening to Clarkson and then trying to accelerate out of a snake?

If you wish to sport a sticker proclaiming your dislike for a particular individual or programme, feel free. Just don`t try to justify your position by spouting emotive statements you can`t back up.

Anyone towing a caravan (or even driving on the road) is responsible for their own actions and behavior. If they are stupid enough to watch an entertainment programme and decide to live their lives according to what they see then God help us all. What next - "I saw it on Jeremy Kyle so it must be right!"?

I personally think Clarkson, May (and to a lesser extent Hammond) are excellent presenters of a range of entertainment programmes, others may disagree and thats their prerogative. I would never put an anti-Clarkson sticker in the back of my car or `van just as I would never put a "Top Gear" or "baby/princess etc on board" sticker in a car. I just can`t see the point, and anyway who cares? (maybe thats another topic)

I think Clarkson is great, he doesn't expect people to take him seriously and they take the mick out of each other all the time!

I want a 'love clarkson,love caravans' sticker...I might just make myself one and laminate it!

I orignally posted my question as I was trying to find a light hearted means of getting back at my work colleagues and that was all. I did not intend to argue about it, but as you said, we are entitled to our own opinions.

The man in question died because he was being driven by an idiot who disregarded the Highway Code, and also because he himself broke the law by not wearing a seatbelt. The man died as a result of being thrown from a moving vehicle. As I recall that was the coroners verdict.

Unfortunately our society is full of fools that cannot, or will not, take responsibily for their own actions.

If your neighbour told you it was O.K to drive the wrong way up a motorway would you do it? Why not? If you did would you consider "he told me it was O.K" a credible defence?

It seems that no matter what happens nowadays it always has to be "someone elses fault", probably due to the compensation culture which has invaded our society.

But it doesn`t make it right.

I own a caravan a motorcycle and  cycle every day and i love Clarkson. We need people like him to keep the "old ways" alive.
