I try not to miss Top Gear, I watch it for what it is, A comedy.

I can only dream of being at the head of a queue of traffic and find out Clarkson is behind

As for accelerating out of a snake, Yes you can sometimes but you need nerves of steel or stupidity. They proved this can work when they tried for the caravan speed record using a rally car. Caravan started to snake yet the driver kept his foot down and the outfit sorted itself. NOT something you would want to do on the road though so yes common sense should prevail.

Think of all those caravans they have destroyed, Then wonder why your caravan is holding its value well. Write him a nice thankyou letter asking him to join you on your next outing. As long as he brings a bottle and helps with the awning of course.

Update the Telegraph link finally opened.

Driver was 29 & towing 3 bullocks down a steep hill with a pajero jeep.

Made me wonder if he was allowed to tow that outfit? Or whether it wan in fact overloaded.

I expect not sticking to the 85% rule.

Saw that, they also blew the engine though!!

love the show, makes me cringe thogh when they trash vans about the same age as mine!!

i love clarkson top gear cars AND caravans,

i would love the up urs clarkson one!! in the impossible hope that one day clarkson is stuck up my arse in a jam on the motor way with no where to go and the only thing he can see is that sticker in the back end of my caravan!! thtat would be funny
