looking for some windbreakers but had prev bought some from towsure which i had to return as after one night the poles had snapped and the silver tips had cracked
was looking for some blue in colour but of good quality
Been there and done that too, even tried the ones with the guy ropes etc..... Now i have the type you buy from a beach shop, great, do the job, stops the wind, if you bang them in far enough do not fall over.

If you really mean "best windbreakers to buy", then it has to be Isabella's "Acryl" one, however its going to cost an arm and a leg.
They are superb, I was fortunate 10 or more years ago to get one at one third price in a closing down sale. That said it looks as good as new today and if I faced buying a replacement I would bite the bullet and buy one again.
They have steel poles along the top which gives it is great strength.
We dont bother anymore, beach ones took to much hammering, foldy ones kept blowing down, anyway I like to have a good nose around the campsite and couldn't see over them! lol
