Sutton bank on the A170 is out of bounds fof caravans !

their is a sign posted alternative route off the A19 going through  coxwold and meeting up back on the Helmsley to Scarborough road.

i use the AA route finder.....

as the new tunnel works can make the area busy.

tunnel works whats it for,cars or trains?

Or from the A174 you could use the A171 which takes you all the way to Scarborough, then join the A165 onto Filey. The only bank of note is just past Guisborough, but it's nothing difficult, and certainly nothing like Sutton Bank, and it's a good road all the way.

Anyway, whichever way you choose, have a good trip.
