Our van is in storage (on a farm) and we have this sonic mouse repeller ... have been using it now for about 8 months and so far....no mice!! Field mice can be a real problem, they have teeth like razor blades, and caravans are a nice warm place to make a nest. They can do a lot of damage eating through upholstery, wiring, pipework, all sorts.
The batteries last about 3 months. Bought ours from Ebay - cost about £10 I think, with postage. We place it on the floor of the van, about half way down by the kitchen area.
