Halfway there, this is a 5 van site that we use when heading south. It is on the outskirts of Longtown on the Brampton road.
Absolutely idea and take your swimming cozies!!!

the last time I was there,it was in a sprite musketeer with my mates and we were diving,we stayed at north ladaig,and all three times were in june,but we travelled through the night,but in June if the weather is good you could see almost no nights without a little glow all through the night,and then it starts to get light again around 2 am,we are heading there this year as my OH has never been,and hopefully around june to let her see the 24 hour twylight,so I hope you have a great time,sorry about not knowing any stopovers.

Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
