Was the rest of the van fully loaded? To take an accurate nose weight reading the van needs to be loaded as it would if you were going away on holiday for for the weekend. Clearly adding things inside the van will also have an impact on noseweight as well. As to your question, my view would be to achieve a noseweight, for the Sportage,  that was as near to the  75kgs as possible without going over it.

We use to have an "equal set up" i.e. car 75kg and van 75kg but i never went to the max as it was just that - a maximum and if anything shifts in transit then you could go over the limit for your set up.

I would personally go for something like 70-72kg, I would take out the hook up reel and check it again.

If i was towing without the family (sometimes went to local sites to set up first) then i would add the weight to the car to ensure correct or better ratio (85% rule)

Also what is the "recommended" nose weight for the van?, 7% of my van weight is around 85Kg so I try to get mine as close as to the 75Kg for the car as possible. If you van is lighter you may well be able to travel below 75Kg.

Ideally, you should aim to have a noseweight that is 7% of the fully laden weight of your van - but often the limit of your towcar is lower than that. In which case, apply the lower weight.
