Hi can someone tell me why a caravan has two awning tracks,?

or so you can put awning up on other side if you push caravan on to the pitch rather than reversing on, in keeping with the layout of the site.

Or if its two tracks on the same side as with some continental vans its for a roof lining in the awning; very civilised and stylish

Maybe its easier/cheaper for the manufacturers to put the same on both sides
