We also have a Geist Aktiv 495 bought from Elite Caravans, we struggled at first but now we have sussed it. 

as follows:

Take all the cushion off, Use the two biggest / longest cushions as two single beds, turn them upside down, and place against the bulk head opposite / furthest away from the door ( when its very cold you may get a chill from the door otherwise)

This then leaves only a small amount of space where your feet go i.e. at the end of the bed. We fill this are with the plain (uncovered . infill) cushions.

All other cushions are stored in lockers / under the bed as you choose.

In the above way you are lying on the longest and flattest sections of the cushions

We have AK 565 and I think the cushion layout may be similar; we make sure that the knee rolls are at head and foot end if that makes sense! with long cushions at foot end too and other bits on floor underneath.

Geist Owners Club could be good. According to Elite caravans there were 80 of the AK495s brought into this country so there must be a few of us out there because i dont think there are many left!

The 565 is a different layout with its knee roll cushions as the AK495 has flat seat cushions i.e. no knee roll .

It would be brilliant if we can get an owners club going there was a Geist rally last year everyone was very friendly. We found it good to be able to talk to other people with similar caravans.

I wish we didn’t have the knee roll - it would save a lot of problems - esp. when you are short and your feet can't touch the floor! Or they cut off your circulation to lower leg!
