has any one had or got the powertch twin mover single motor one my mate just bought a twin axle and said i can just push it in lol!!!!!

hes on a budget this is much cheaper than some others but is it as godd as he would save 500 quid i know im happy with mine but its a single on a single!!!!!

come on help out we stopped him buying the van he wanted so lets give him some good news please!!!!

I've  got a powrtouch mover on my twin axle. Originally I just had the two wheel version fitted but after trying it out I asked if they could upgrade it to the four wheel drive model.

I need to use the mover to get the van in and out of my drive where it's stored. The drive is sloping plus I need to turn it through 180 degrees on a narrow road. The two wheel drive version coped but only just, turning the van round was very slow and laborious, a lot of backwards and forwards.

Big difference with the four wheel drive, much better.

It really depends on what your mate needs it for, he might manage quite well with the two wheel model. Tell him to ask if powrtouch will upgrade to 4 wheel drive if need be and how they will charge.

I have just had the Power touch 4 x 4 motor mover version fitted to my Crusader and also have a sloping drive with two tight turns to get off the drive. All I can say is         ' fantastic'. I was concerned that it would be too much for the mover to cope an I would have a problem. However it took it with ease. I used to have the single Power touch mover on my Pageant and that was great as well. Great product, well made and does what it says on the tin.  

Good point Jennifer, however if he is looking at a mover for a twin axle the 4 x 4 is much better imo if you have slopes or obstacles. I would rather take less kit in the van than not be able to afford the allowance of the extra weight of the 4 x 4 mover.

For where I have to put the van at home a single twin mover would not have coped properly. By paying the extra means that I have saved storage costs by being able to keep the van at home and consequently use the van more at short notice weekends..
