check tyres as a rule before each trip,they do not need to be 5 year old.some tyres are cracking at 12 month old. this will help.did mine one hour ago.DO NOT forget wheel nuts each trip too.

Mine have just been replaced after 4 years. They are Hankook tyres.

I posted the pictures to show people what to look for when they check their tyres , who makes them isn't the point i'm trying to get across.

Why does it matter if the tyres are cheap ones ? does this mean that if you have expensive tyres you don't need to check them .

I would disagree about cheap tyres being of differing wall thicknesses etc, a tyre of a certain size must be just that, otherwise tyre pressures would vary make to make...and they don't!

But for whatever reason I would agree that many are still of a poorer design than main stream tyres, however; that's because the European Standard required to sell them in the EU is far too low, main stream tyres far exceed this standard.
