Hi ,I did seasonal for years and was maybe lucky as only had one blow away in the wind and that was because the stiching had rotted on the beading and the stiches gave way.
I had 2 Doremas and although I had zip trouble they never blew away.Just do what you have done and securely peg down ,use extra poles for strength and use an Awning strap across the front.I think the heavier the poles the better.What you must remember is that wind can blow caravans over so in severe conditions nothing is safe.We also had a wooden floor to keep us off ground and we put the bearers on the underflaps of awning so that was held down very well.Not every site will allow that though,it just depends where you are.
