This thread is enough to scare anyone from using the site showers. It has got me thinking but I hope that by the time I am at our next site I will have forgotten this thread lol. We use mainly CC sites which have always been immaculate.
We have a shower in our caravan but to be honest you can't swing an ant let alone a cat in there so we use the site showers instead, however I have a few times when on a one night stay washed my hair in the sink using the shower head. It would have been just as easy to use the shower I think lol.
Our next van will have a separate shower cubicle .... when we can afford to change it so until then we use the facilities on site most of the time.

you will NOT forget.. you will remember my wise words and as soon as you enter the shower you will think of all the body fats and fluids stuck to the walls ready to bounce off and cover you as soon as the hot jets hit them...
