We are bringing our caravan to my mums to have the vinyl floor laid on monday, we are wanting to do some cleaning and little jobs we were wondering how to clean the upholstery in caravan also are there any other jobs we should do before we go out fotr the fisrt time in May thanks

Fairy liquid is great for cleaning, rub it on with a cloth or brish and then rub that with a dry towel, you will be surprised how much muck comes off!!

i use a steam cleaner it kills all germs

Funny I just found this post - we collected the cushions from our van yesterday & have just spent a couple of hours steam cleaning them - they've come up a treat.  Also found an anti-bacterial fabric freshener for 97p in Asda, so gave them a spritz with that, which I'll use between holidays (spritz before we leave, lovely & dry & nice smelling when we get to site)!!

Bringing up baby to be a seasoned caravanner - we bought one to holiday cheaply - working well so far - & caravanners are lovely - helped us on our virgin voyage & our awning!!!
